Focus and Scope
e-TI invites academics as well as industrials to present their research, thoughts and trends in Information Technology. It aims to promote exchange of IT knowledge, between North and South countries.
The list of topics spans all the areas of information technology such as information systems, databases, big data, data mining, artificial intelligence, distributed systems, web technologies and applications, security and quality.

The following duties outlined for editors, authors and reviewers are based on the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Editors' responsiblities
Publication decision
The editors are responsible for deciding which of the papers submitted to the journal will be published. The paper is forwarded blind peer review to the editorial board who will make a recommendation to accept, reject or modify the paper. The editors will review the paper for its intellectual content without regard of sex, citizenship, religion, etc of the author. The editors can choose to ignore any material that breaks legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infrigement and plagiarism.
Confidentiality
The editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted paper to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers and the publisher.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
The editors of e-TI journal will not use unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted paper for their own research purposes without written consent of the author.
Reviewers' responsibilities
Contribution to editorial decisions
The peer-reviewing process assists the editors board in making editorial decisions and may also serve the author in improving the paper.
Promptness
When a reviewer cannot complete the review of the paper within stipulated time, this information must be communicated to the editor, so that the paper could be sent to another reviewer.
Confidentiality
Information regarding papers submitted by authors should be kept confidential and be treated as privileged information.
Standards of objectivity
Review of submitted papers must be done objectively and the reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgment of sources
Papers reviewers must ensure that authors have acknowledged all sources of data used in the research. Any kind of similarity or overlap, between the papers under consideration or with any other published paper of which reviewer has personal knowledge, must be immediately brought to the editors's notice.
Authors' responsibilities
Reporting standards
Authors should present an accurate account of their original research as well an objective discussion of its significance. Papers will follow the submission guidelines of the journal in the website.
Originality
Authors must ensure that they have written original work.
Multiples or concurrent publications
Authors should not submit the same paper to more than one journal concurrently. It is also expected that the author will not publish papers describing the same research in more than one journal.
Acknowledgement of sources
Authors should acknowledge all sources of data used in the research and cite publications that have been influential in the research work.
Authorship of the paper
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution, design, execution or interpretation of the reported study. All the authors should see and agree to the submitted version of the paper and the inclusion of their names as co-authors. All the co-authors should be acknowledged.
